The UCF LOPRO Transmission Mount was designed to allow you cheat.

For years people assumed you needed drop-down spacers for the stock transfer case skid so you can install a 3″ suspension lift on a TJ – Not with the LOPRO mount!

Everyone also thought you needed a body lift to install a TT skid on a TJ or LJ – Not with the LOPRO mount!

There are many ways to take advantage of the clearance afforded by the LOPRO mount. Some probably haven’t yet been considered.

The new mount is a direct replacement for the factory transmission mount on the ’03-’06 model TJ and LJ. More testing and development is required before we release the LOPRO mount for the early model TJ (’97-’02). It is almost 1″ shorter than the factory piece. This lowers the transfer case down into the skid plate by the same amount. That 1″ of extra clearance can go far toward reducing metal-on-metal vibration and avoiding body lifts. Some increase in felt drivetrain vibration should be expected with this transmission mount.

Some modifications to the factory bracket that connects the transmission mount to the transmission will be necessary. You will be required to shorten a flange with a sawzall or angle grinder. The LOPRO mount will be shipped unassembled and unpainted. You will need to paint all the bare steel parts and install the bushing.

Note:

(1) The LOPRO mount will not be directly compatible with the UCF High-Clearance Transfer Case Skid Plate if used with the 42RLE automatic transmission. The transmission pan would interfere with the bent front edge of the skid plate. The front edge of the skid plate could be modified to allow the parts to be used together.

(2) The LOPRO mount should not be used with 32RH automatic transmission in the early TJ because the adapter that attaches the transmission mount to the skid plate doesn’t adequately support the bottom side of the LOPRO mount.

This is one of those parts that are almost required when building a custom suspension on a leaf-sprung Ford Dana 60 front axle. It provides a rock-solid point to mount your upper suspensions links and double-ended steering ram. No more welding to cast steel housings. Just install the diff cover, set the perch pad bracket in the spring perch, put the truss body in place on the tube and weld it all up. I looks more complicated than it is. Instruction set coming soon.

This truss system will come with a Dana 60 Diff Cover and an extra tab that has to be welded to the cover before the cover is installed. This tab is what ties the truss system to the cover itself.

The size of the link tab platform is 4 1/8″ x 20 1/2″. The size of the ram mount platform is 6 1/4″ x 13 1/4″. The distance from the link mount platform to the centerline of the axle tube is 6 7/8″.

Laser cut from 1/2″ thick carbon steel plate, the truss body is heavy enough for any amount of horsepower. The inner support gussets are made from 3/8″ steel plate. The skid on the front of the ram mount and the rear cover plate are 1/4″ steel plate.

Truss hardware not included (diff cover hardware is included). You will need to provide (3) 1/2″ bolts and nuts. Shipped bare of paint so you can weld it on, place your link tabs and steering ram, and weld it all up.

HD Lower Control Arm Mounts for Jeep TJ, LJ & XJ for Dana 30 & Dana 44

UCF is now offering replacement axle-side lower control arm mounts for Jeep TJ, LJ & XJ vehicles. This is the part of the factory suspension that’s usually first to go. They rip-off the axle on the trail and strand you at the worst possible time.

Our lower control arm mounts are fabricated from 3/16″ carbon steel plate and ship bare of paint and ready to weld onto your rig. The material is doubled up on the sides to give you a total thickness of 3/8″. They accomodate the use of the factory cam-bolts. Sold in pairs, enough to do a whole axle.

This may be the strongest replacement lower control arm mount in existance. Other companies use flimsy horse-shoe shaped tabs to hold the cam bolts steady (where all the force is really transfered in a hard brake or acceleration in 4WD). Our bracket is designed so that the cam bolt rests against the strongest part of the bracket; the part welded directly to the axle tube.

Order a pair today.
