I just added the option to upgrade UCF aluminum TT skid plates to 3/8″ thick 6061-T6 aluminum plate. The upgrade cost $100 extra. The total weight of the 3/8″ TT plate is about 40lbs and is the ultimate combination of light-weight and high-strength.
